Ray Benítez

Raimundo Benítez (Granada, 1981) began training at age 6 at the María Teresa Rojas academy and perfected his art with masters such as Manolete, Mariquilla, Javier Barón, and in the school of Mario Maya. Professional since 1996 in Mariquilla’s company, he has collaborated with figures like Fuensanta la Moneta and Manuel Liñán. A regular in the caves of Sacromonte and in tablaos like Casa Ana, he has performed in theaters in Europe and the Middle East. He is recognized as an elegant dancer of great technique, combining performance with teaching.
