María Gómez “La Canastera”

Flamenco dancer, singer, and educator from Almuñécar (Granada). She directs her own Professional Flamenco School in Almuñécar and has created large-format shows aimed at highlighting Gypsy culture, such as *Flamenca Soy* and *Historia y Cultura del Pueblo Gitano*. She collaborates permanently with guitarist Niño Carmelo, with whom she released the album *Dos almas* in 2019 and traditional Christmas shows like *Llegó la Navidad*, standing out for her stage presence and her dedication to spreading flamenco art.
