José Cortés “El Indio”

José Cortés, known on the flamenco stage as “El Indio”, is a dancer and percussionist born in Granada in 1984. Raised in a family with deep Gypsy and flamenco roots, he began dancing in childhood. In addition to his role as a solo dancer in traditional tablaos and peñas in Granada (like the historic Peña La Platería in Albaicín), he has an extraordinary mastery of rhythm, percussion, and flamenco jaleos, having shared the stage and collaborated with figures like dancer Patricia Guerrero.
