Fuensanta La Moneta

Fuensanta “La Moneta” (Fuensanta Fresneda Galera, Granada, 1984) is one of the most acclaimed and representative flamenco dancers and choreographers today. Born in the Zaidín neighborhood, she trained with masters such as Mario Maya, Javier Latorre, Juana Amaya, and Matilde Coral, making her professional debut in Madrid at just 16. Endowed with a dance of deep telluric power and expressive drama, in 2003 she won the prestigious “El Desplante” award at the Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas. She has directed and starred in highly acclaimed productions of her own such as *Frente al silencio*, *Vínculos*, and *Bailar, vivir*, performing in the main theaters of Europe, America, and Asia, and directs her own flamenco dance school in Granada.
