Antonio El Turry

The cantaor Antonio “El Turry” (Antonio Gómez Muñoz, 1987) was born in Almuñécar (Granada) into a family with a rich flamenco tradition: he is the son of guitarist Ricardo de la Juana and bailaora Rosa la Canastera. At age 10 he joined his father’s company and at 18 moved to Granada to perform in the province’s main tablaos. He has participated in the country’s most important festivals and has presented his own shows such as *Flamenco por Naturaleza* and *Misa Flamenca*. He has recorded the albums *Sentir que sueño* and *Borracho de arte*, collaborating with figures like Jorge Pardo, Jerónimo Maya, and Marina Heredia.
